What is the Buoy Buddy and what does it do?

Buoy Buddy is a secure, floating cup holder designed to keep your drinks steady on the water. Originally created for paddleboards, it's now a universal solution for kayaks, boats, and more—keeping your beverage safe, cool, and within reach.

How does the Buoy Buddy attach to my board?

  • Buoy Buddy 1.0: Attaches using the deck string bungee system on most paddleboards or kayaks. Just secure it through the cords—no tools needed.

  • Buoy Buddy 2.0: Features marine-grade 3M waterproof adhesive that sticks directly to your board. It’s extremely durable and stays secure even in rough water.

What are the Buoy Buddies made of?

  • Buoy Buddy 1.0: Made from durable, weather-resistant plastic that floats and holds up to 5 lbs.

  • Buoy Buddy 2.0: Built from stainless steel, with a powder-coated exterior and vacuum-sealed insulation to keep your drinks cold. It holds up to 10 lbs and floats if dropped.

What drink sizes can they hold?

Both versions are designed to fit most standard and oversized drink containers:

  • Regular and tall cans (including king cans)

  • Water bottles

  • Iced coffee tumblers

  • 40 oz Stanley cups and similar-sized mugs

Can I use Buoy Buddy on more than just a paddleboard?

Yes! While Buoy Buddy was originally designed for paddleboards, it's completely universal. You can attach it to:

  • Kayaks

  • Boats

  • Docks

  • Coolers

  • Even floaties!
    And yes—it floats on its own.

Do you offer local delivery in the Okanagan?

Yes! We’re based in the Okanagan Valley and offer free or low-cost local delivery across:

  • Kelowna

  • Vernon

  • Lake Country

  • Penticton

Do you ship within Canada?

Absolutely. We offer nationwide shipping across Canada. Shipping options are available at checkout.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes—international shipping is available upon request. Just contact us through our Contact Page or email- sup.buoybuddy@gmail.com and we’ll set it up for you.

What is your return or exchange policy?

We stand behind the quality of Buoy Buddy. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out within 14 days of delivery and we’ll do our best to resolve it through a return or exchange. If there are any issues with the 3M tape, we are happy to send you a replacement at NO cost!
